  1. Dear Ammaa avargaL

    Vanakkam and respects.

AIAMDK as a party should really address some series issues below which have been ignored by DMK government.

    Hindi Imposition
    ——————–
1.Why is Hindi being imposed in Madras Refineries Limited?
2.Why is Hindi being imposed in Chennai Petroleum Corporation limited?
3.Why is Hindi being imposed in Syndicate Bank and other nationalized banks in Tamilnadu?
4.Why is Hindi being imposed in Neyveli Lignite Corporation. Please see their website. Hindi and not Tamil is a requirement.
5.Why is Hindi being imposed in all CBSE and ICSE schools in Tamilnadu as a second or third language while Tamil can be skipped? I wish to point out that Tamils studying in CBSE schools arcross Tamilnadu are facing much higher portions compared to people who take Hindi as second language as Hindi is compulsory as III language while Tamil can be skipped by others. THe portions of II language Tamil + III language Hindi is much higher compared to II language Hindi + III language Sanksrit, hence outsiders come to Tamilnadu and secure ranks without learning Tamil.

    Removal of Tamil in Tamilnadu
    —————————————-
1.Why was Tamil announcements removed from Chennai domestic airport
2.Why are most Tamilnadu government website not available in Tamil?
3.Why is Tamil not a requirement for signboards of shops and other business. Please go to Rameswaram - many shops only have Hindi signboards instead of English or Tamil. 4 out of 10 shops in Chennai do not have a single sign in Tamil. In Bangalore without Kannada signs, shop license are cancelled.
    4. Why still there is no Tamil medium option for higher education in Tamilnadu like Engineering, Medical. I wish to point out that Tamil Virtual University was created bringing out of lakhs of technical terms in Tamil and much publicized in newspapers. But when you study in detail, there is so much conflicting terminology and errors. One hope AIADMK will setup commitee to standardize engineering and technical terms in Tamil.

    Boycot of Tamils in Tamilnadu
    —————————————
1.Why are train driver jobs inside Tamilnadu given to only Biharis, UP people? Please look at Karnataka and Maharashtra and other states.
2.Why are airport jobs like security in Chennai and other TN airports reserved only for Hindi speakers?
3.Why are road construction projects inside Tamilnadu given to only Biharies, UP and not Tamils?
4.Why are forward community Tamils being left out in Tamilnadu’s reservation policy?
5.Why is Tamil knowedge not being made a requirement for availing reservation - please see the number of people who do not know a word of Tamil getting reserved seat whiles many Tamils are getting denied because of caste (forward caste).
6.Securing of lakhs of ration cards by people of outside state and north India by illegal means.
    7. Absence of Tamil announcements in Tamilnadu based flights. DMK Chief Mr Karunanidhi in last election promised to bring Tamil annoucements into flights touching Tamilnadu. But after he came, announcement in Chennai domestic airport is also not being done regularly - only in Hindi and English.

    Infrastructure
    ——————
1.Why are so many airports across Tamilnadu lying idle or dead projects - Salem, Tuticorin, Ramnad, Vellore, Hosur, Kanniyakumari? In 1998 it was announced Tamilnadu will lauch state level airlines, but why the project never got implemented.
2.Why is no industry come in Southern Tamil nadu - Kilakkarai, Erwadi, Sayalkudi, Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai are still economically backward without much industry.

One hopes AIADMK will work on these above issues for betterment of Tamilnadu.

    Nandri Vanakkam.

    Thamizhan
